For more than a hundred years now, the softness of the brewery brothers corn has been set for the future. In fact, the impressive corporate history speaks for itself, the development from a regional brewery to one of Germany’s leading white beer breweries. And in doing so, the values of family farming have traditionally continued.
In 1887, Hans and Eberhardt Maisel founded the family business. They built a modern brewery in front of the Bayreuth gates and laid the foundation for today’s very successful enterprise. In the midst of the global economic crisis of the 1920s, Fritz and Andreas, the sons of the founding brothers, took over the leadership of the brewery business. But it was Fritz Maisel who, from 1936 on, managed the operation in his own responsibility.
